At Dicetek LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Backend Systems: You will be responsible for designing and developing reusable code libraries, REST/SOAP APIs, and implementing ongoing security systems.
  • Collaborate with Front-end Team: You will work closely with the front-end team to expose weaknesses and problems, and participate in regular meetings to ensure seamless integration.
  • Optimize Server Code: You will routinely inspect server code for speed optimization and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Data Storage and Usability: You will conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage, configure usability of all front-side applications, and maintain a stable server with zero downtime.
  • Backup and Support: You will keep a backup library before any large changes to the server, provide training, help, and support to other team members, and participate in the overall application lifecycle.
  • Coding and Debugging: You will focus on coding and debugging, collaborate with front-end developers, define and communicate technical and design requirements, and build high-quality reusable code.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 6 Years of Experience: You must have a minimum of 6 years of work experience as a Java Software Engineer, Java Developer, or similar backend engineer role.
  • Java EE and Spring Boot Experience: You must have experience building Java EE, Java Spring Boot API implementations, and a strong understanding of REST, SOAP, and HTTP standards.
  • Object-Oriented Design and Java Frameworks: You must have familiarity with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and good knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVC.
  • Problem-Solving Skills and Education: You must have strong problem-solving skills, a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and a BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
