Petrofac Emirates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Control Functions: Develop and implement project control procedures, project schedules, and reporting systems to facilitate project monitoring and control.
  • Staffing Requirements: Finalize staffing requirements in consultation with the Project Control Manager (PCM) to ensure the right resources are allocated to the project.
  • Progress Measurement: Develop and implement a progress measurement system that includes weight factor calculations and quantities with earned value, which will be used as supporting documentation for progress reports.
  • Planning Documents: Prepare planning documents such as manpower histograms, progress curves, and other relevant reports to track project progress.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress through weekly/monthly reports and resolve any problems, bottlenecks, or scheduling conflicts that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project control or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
