We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Assistant Manager to join our team at Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the spa team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the spa team to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Communication: Foster open and effective communication with the team to identify areas for improvement and develop a continuous improvement program.
  • Training and Development: Ensure all team members understand their responsibilities and job descriptions correctly, and provide regular training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Reporting and Administration: Submit accurate and concise reports to Operations and other stakeholders, and maintain accurate records of team performance and guest feedback.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control spa costs, including petty cash spending and product usage, to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Disciplinary Action: Conduct disciplinary actions as needed, accurately tracking verbal and written warnings for violations of policy and procedures.
  • Meetings and Feedback: Conduct weekly meetings with the team to discuss revenue growth, sales techniques, quality of teamwork, training needs, and other important issues.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Conduct other related duties as assigned by the General Manager, including organizing up-selling training programs, spa promotions, and event training for managers and their teams.
  • Visual Merchandising: Monitor and maintain retail displays and spa service displays in spa and public areas, ensuring they are visually appealing and exciting.
  • Internal Promotions: Plan and create internal spa promotion packages with the General Manager and hotel teams.
  • Reporting and Updates: Submit regular update reports to the General Manager.
