Job Summary:

A reputable family in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nanny to provide exceptional care and educational support for their child. We are looking for a professional with a passion for childcare, a strong educational background, and the ability to create a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the Child's Safety and Wellbeing: Provide vigilant supervision and attentive care throughout the day, ensuring the child's physical and emotional needs are met.
  2. Establish a Daily Routine: Assist with morning routines and evening winddown activities, including reading bedtime stories and preparing the child for a restful night's sleep.
  3. Engage in Daily Learning and Play Activities: Design and implement age-appropriate interactive play sessions that stimulate the child's cognitive and motor skills development.
  4. Support Early Childhood Development: Encourage the child's growth through structured learning activities focusing on language development, basic counting, and sensory exploration.
  5. Prepare Nutritious Meals and Snacks: Ensure the child receives balanced and healthy food tailored to their dietary needs, fostering good eating habits from an early age.
  6. Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Keep the child's play area, bedroom, and belongings tidy and sanitized, ensuring a safe and hygienic living space.
  7. Communicate Effectively with Parents: Provide daily updates on the child's activities, milestones, and any notable observations, ensuring parents are informed and involved in their child's development.
  8. Foster Emotional Wellbeing: Offer a nurturing and supportive presence, providing comfort, reassurance, and a listening ear to the child's needs.
  9. Monitor Developmental Milestones: Observe and track the child's growth and development, identifying any areas that may need additional attention or support.
  10. Promote Positive Behavior: Teach and reinforce good manners, social skills, and positive behavior through gentle guidance and consistent routines.
  11. Adapt to the Family's Schedule and Needs: Demonstrate flexibility with working hours and tasks, accommodating any changes in the family's routine or special requests.
  12. Treat the Family with Respect and Professionalism: Maintain the family's privacy and confidentiality, always conducting oneself with integrity and professionalism.
  13. Participate in Outings and Activities: Accompany the child on walks, visits to the park, and other outdoor activities, promoting physical exercise and social interaction.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum five years of proven experience as a childcare nanny or in related childcare roles.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field specializing in child development.
  3. Native English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability in teaching children; teaching experience preferred.
  5. Flexible availability working 10 to 12 hours a day with one day off per week.
  6. Positive attitude, patience, and a sense of humor to engage with children effectively.
  7. Capable of remaining calm and composed under pressure, maintaining a positive and nurturing environment for the child.
  8. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to high-profile lifestyles.
