The Senior L&D Manager (Electrification) is a critical role within Al-Futtaim Group, responsible for developing and delivering technical training programs for New Energy vehicle technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry, particularly electric vehicles, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Main Responsibilities:- Developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for New Energy vehicle technicians, focusing on EV Curriculum refinement to align with the latest models, technology, legislation, and certification guidelines.
- Coordinating all IMI activities across the centre, ensuring delivery and assessment meet the required standards. Liaising with IMI in areas such as Business Development, Quality Assurance, Certification, and Registration.
- Collaborating with NEV brand principals and IMI to ensure brand standards are achieved and the latest information and working practices are followed.
- Designing and implementing a trainee/apprenticeship program in partnership with reputable overseas institutes to form a talent pool of certified technicians.
- Creating eLearning and digital content to support continuous improvement of technical training, benefiting the Automotive network in the UAE and abroad.
- Working with Aftersales Managers and Branch Managers to enhance the customer experience, supporting campaigns, new model launch activities, promotions, and first-time fix initiatives.
- Promoting and monitoring NEV HSSE-related issues, ensuring safe handling of high-voltage equipment and providing improvement recommendations and follow-up activities throughout the network.
