Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a teacher to support students with their learning, both individually and in groups.
  • Contribute to monitoring student progress and provide feedback to support teachers in delivering a tailored approach to learning.
  • Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and activities, ensuring that students are engaged and motivated.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma level education.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar position.
  • A sound understanding of teaching best practice and the ability to apply this in a classroom setting.
  • High level of fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • High level of international and inter-cultural understanding.
  • An understanding of the British curriculum would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) or students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN) would be beneficial.
