About the RoleThe HSE Engineer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry. ADNOC HSE approval is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead HSE Initiatives: Lead initiatives to improve HSE performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments, prepare method statements, and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
- Support Operational Teams: Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSE-related matters, including safe work practices, emergency response procedures, and environmental protection measures.
- Maintain HSE Records: Monitor and track HSE performance indicators, compile statistical data, and prepare reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry.
- ADNOC HSE approval is mandatory.
- Knowledge of ADNOC regulations, standards, and requirements.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HSE management software.
