We are seeking a highly skilled HSE professional to join our team as an HSE Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Perform risk assessments and ensure that all high-risk activities on-site have appropriate risk mitigation measures and safe work procedures in place
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental standards
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE, particularly in construction, infrastructure, or underground utilities projects
- Hands-on experience in implementing HSE protocols in roadworks and utilities infrastructure projects is highly preferred
- A strong understanding of UAE HSE regulations, construction safety standards, and environmental policies
- Experience in conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate safety records, including training records, incident reports, and inspection reports.
