Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Support
    • Provide timely and effective support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of our IT infrastructure, including telecommunications systems.
    • Implement technology-related processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Technical Operations
    • Install and configure software and hardware upgrades in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
    • Perform daily backups and restores to ensure data integrity.
    • Monitor technology and telecom mailboxes and resolve issues within service levels.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and records of all systems security, contingency plans, internal controls, and standards.
    • Perform routine daily clerical functions to ensure the integrity of our computer systems.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Support audio-visual equipment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Detailed knowledge of operating systems, including Windows 7.
    • Experience with management of operating systems, including PMS (Micros-Fidelio), PABX/Voicemail/Call Accounting, RIS, Sales and Catering.
  • Business Acumen
    • Excellent organizational, follow-through, and communication skills.
    • Exceptional problem resolution abilities.
    • Strong guest interaction skills.
  • Education and Certifications
    • 1-2 years of experience in an IT role in a fast-paced luxury hotel/conference environment.
    • Microsoft Certified Software Engineer.
    • Understanding of Cisco Networking Equipment.
    • Understanding of TCP/IP networks.
