Engineering Duty Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage engineering staff and ensure smooth running of hotel engineering facilities.
  2. Complete maintenance work orders from all departments in a timely manner.
  3. Perform routine and preventive maintenance in hotel rooms and public areas.
  4. Respond promptly to maintenance calls and resolve issues to guest satisfaction.
  5. Prioritize maintenance issues and attend to breakdowns of plants and machines.
  6. Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  7. Monitor fire alarm/Life Safety Systems and handle emergencies.
  8. Communicate with departments and provide information and assistance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years in engineering studies.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  3. Minimum 2 years' experience at a Supervisory level.
  4. International experience, particularly in the Middle East, is an advantage.
  5. Hotel pre-opening experience or renovation experience is an asset.
  6. Experience with Building Automation Systems is a plus.
