Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Supervisor to join our team at National Petroleum Construction Company Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operating procedures, and leading a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Supervise the regular maintenance of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, and conduct pre-job checks to identify any potential issues.
  2. Pipeline Operations: Oversee the operation of pipeline pigging, cleaning, gauging, and hydro testing equipment, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and safety protocols.
  3. Reporting and Compliance: Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, and take necessary steps to prevent damage to property, plant, equipment, and the environment. Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and emergency protocols.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead a team of technicians, ensuring they are aware of company HSE procedures and emergency protocols, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  5. Preparation and Mobilization: Prepare manifolds, hoses, and instruments for third-party certification, and mobilize pipelines, hydrostatic testing equipment, and instruments with necessary documents.
  6. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with company codes and HSE standards, and follow up on daily requirements to mobilize pipeline flooding and testing spreads.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8 years' experience as an Instrument Technician, including 5 years' experience in sea pipelines pigging, gauging, hydrostatic testing, and calibration of testing instruments and equipment.
  • Skills: Proven supervisory skills, good communication skills, and good written and spoken English skills.
