Job Description

The Senior Bid Specialist will be responsible for managing the development of bids and presentations, primarily for our Dubai business. This position requires senior-level input to the bid process, ensuring submissions are targeted and innovative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality bespoke content in collaboration with bid teams to meet deadlines.
  • Facilitate effective bid planning and execution through liaison with bid team and technical leads.
  • Proactively manage the bid and review process to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Utilise local knowledge and research to develop compelling bid responses that meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with bid leads to identify added value options that enhance the bid response.
  • Lead the review and refinement of bid submissions to ensure they meet client requirements.
  • Work with graphic designers to create engaging visual materials that support the bid narrative.
  • Analyse bid results to inform best practice improvements and future marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver training and support to colleagues on bid process, management, and writing techniques.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, conversion rates, and lessons learned.
  • Pipeline management involves working with cost centre leads to monitor and optimise the opportunity pipeline.
Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and familiarity with design-based software like InDesign.
  • APMP Foundation level certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Professional membership of a recognised institution is preferred.
