Job Description

  1. Assist in Sushi Preparation: Collaborate with the Sushi Chef de Partie to prepare and present various sushi dishes, ensuring precision and consistency in every creation.
  2. Mise en Place and Inventory Management: Assist in daily preparation of sushi ingredients, including fish, rice, vegetables, and garnishes, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
  3. Quality Control and Consistency: Maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency in all sushi products, adhering to recipes and guidelines set by the Sushi Chef de Partie and Head Chef.
  4. Kitchen Maintenance and Organization: Ensure the sushi station remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout service, following all health and safety regulations.
  5. Team Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the Sushi Chef de Partie and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
  6. Training and Development: Share knowledge of sushi techniques and culinary skills with junior kitchen staff, contributing to their growth and development.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Accommodate special requests and dietary preferences, delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
