Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled MIS Accountant to join our team at Robinson & Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of billing, monitoring departmental activities and revenue, and submitting monthly auto units billing to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records, ensuring timely submission to customers.
  • Monitor departmental activities and revenue on a daily and weekly basis, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Consolidate and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and management reports.
  • Analyze shipment creation from billing and yard logistics aspects, identifying revenue leakage and determining solutions to prevent future losses.
  • Utilize fuel control and analysis vehicle-wise reports to optimize logistics operations.
  • Perform discovery and analysis to document workflow, processes, and needs.
  • Create business requirements and analyze functional and technical specifications to ensure needs are addressed.
  • Prepare automotive logistics budgets and forecasts as per group timelines and update in IFRP.
  • Monthly BSS (Balance Sheet Substantiation) for two entities.
  • Freight revenue/margin report and incentive working.

What You Will Do:

  • Automotive revenue report by activity on a monthly basis.
  • Freight revenue and margin report on a monthly basis.

Monthly Report:

  • Volume report by brand/location and movement.
  • Rebate computation on a quarterly basis as per agreement with port authority.
  • Standing guarantee report from customs authority and status/reconciliation.
  • Revenue and cost of sales.

Operations (AFL):

  • Invoice/cost-related matters.
  • Costing.
  • Knowledge on the customer.
  • Query response.

Finance and Finance Support Team:

  • Overheads analysis.
  • Overheads comparison with budget.
  • Review of risk and opportunities on the business.
  • Budget support.

Management:

  • Monthly reports.
  • Monthly commercial report.
  • MIS.
  • IFRP update.

Required Skills:

  • CA qualified with 4 years' experience.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.

About the Team:

You will be reporting to the Finance Manager.

What Equips You for the Role:

  • Professional qualification of CA or ACCA.
  • 4 years in finance, including 6 years in freight management and commercial/operation support.
  • Working in a logistics company will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of the business to develop/introduce reports and operational knowledge to analyze financials.
