Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Deploy Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure systems on Azure, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  2. DevOps Framework Development: Define our DevOps framework with efficient guidelines, optimize and setup CI/CD framework and useful tools, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of our applications.
  3. Cloud Security and Compliance: Deep understanding of Azure Policies and Landing Zone, ensuring our cloud infrastructure meets the highest security and compliance standards.
  4. Infrastructure Management: Improve and manage the full infrastructure including design, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and cyber security, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  5. Automation and Orchestration: Automate the installation and configuration of standard stack items, drive backlog projects to completion with infrastructure as code approach, and automate the installation to achieve Zero touch unattended deployment.
  6. Process Improvement: Review all housekeeping activities and identify key processes that should be automated, introducing Open-Source technologies into standard technology stack, and design solutions that cater for enhancing the operational stability.
  7. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage cloud infrastructure including accounts/subscriptions, IAM, networks, load balancers, and responsible for on-prem technologies physical and virtual servers, SAN and load balancers.
  8. Automation and Documentation: Automation of infrastructure as code using git, CI/CD pipelines, Powershell, Ansible, Terraform, and expected to create and maintain documentation.
  9. Support and Maintenance: Will support acquisitions including configurations, monitoring and preventative maintenance, and expertise in Microsoft Azure and its relevant build, deployment, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps for a large-scale company or organization with high growth.
  2. CI/CD Tooling: CI/CD tooling including Teamcity, Jenkins, Git Lab.
  3. Azure Skills: Strong Azure skills (Azure Certification preferred).
  4. Containerization: Kubernetes/Microservices, Containers/docker.
  5. Infrastructure as Code: Linux Infrastructure as code Ansible.
  6. Hashicorp Technologies: Hashicorp technologies Terraform, Packer, Vault.
  7. Microservice Architecture: Microservice architecture.
  8. Networking Fundamentals: Networking fundamentals.
  9. Security and Cryptography: Security and cryptography.
