Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead a team of Operations, Area, and Shift Managers to achieve performance objectives and build a positive work environment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve quality, and increase efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, closing gaps between performance and goals.
- Talent Management: Hire, develop, and retain top talent, creating a talent plan for the site that includes talent acquisition, performance management, and career development.
- Communication: Present operational metrics to senior leadership and manage day-to-day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers.
- Culture and Engagement: Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout the delivery station team.
- Process Improvement: Leverage the Operations, Area, and Shift Managers to source and nurture ideas, rolling them into improvement plans for the functional area.
- Education: Completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 2+ years' Amazon work experience.
- Experience: 7+ years' direct management experience, including a salaried, hourly, and agency workforce, in a logistics, fulfillment, last-mile manufacturing, engineering, production, or distribution environment.
- Skills: Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial-based results in high-pressure environments, experience with performance metrics and process improvement techniques, and strong analytical capability.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, including local language and English, written and verbal.
- Leadership: Experience managing third-party resources on a regional/national scale and managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field and MBA preferred.
- Experience: Experience in a startup environment and ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
- Leadership: Interest in long-term career development.
