Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to join our team at Robert Walters in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the business's growth objectives. This includes advising on workforce planning and organisational design to ensure the right roles and skills are present to meet business needs.

The Head of People and Talent Acquisition will work closely with leadership to identify current and future talent needs, develop recruitment plans that attract, retain, and develop high-caliber talent, and create detailed job profiles and descriptions that reflect the skills and competencies required for various roles.

The role also involves conducting talent mapping exercises to identify skill gaps and potential internal talent for future opportunities, designing and implementing talent development programs to enhance employee skills and prepare them for future roles within the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workforce planning, talent acquisition, and development strategies, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the business's growth objectives.
  • Talent Management: Conduct talent mapping exercises to identify skill gaps and potential internal talent for future opportunities.
  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop recruitment plans that attract, retain, and develop high-caliber talent.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of recruitment and talent strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR roles, with a focus on recruitment and talent management.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning, talent acquisition, and development strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in using HRIS and recruitment tools.
