About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead EHS Activities on Site
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve EHS objectives.
    • Achieve EHS contractual requirements and KPIs.
    • Perform EHS Risk Assessments and define appropriate measures to control risks.
    • Prepare, implement, and maintain emergency plans.
    • Coordinate and control activities with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
    • Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, and environmental pollution.
    • Recognize best practices and good performance. React to violations of regulations and Alstom Standards.
    • Advise other site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities.
  • Develop Site EHS Management System
    • Develop, deploy, and maintain local procedures and tools, ensuring they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
    • Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed at Site level.
  • EHS Compliance
    • Ensure compliance of site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines, and work instructions.
    • Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
  • Develop EHS Culture in the Site
    • Inform, instruct, and train employees to carry out work in a safe and environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
    • Participate in the implementation of site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring Toolbox meetings are organized.
  • Report, Measure, and Review
    • Capture, report, record, investigate, and analyze accidents/incidents to implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Prepare EHS reports as per contractual requirements when needed.
    • Carry out inspections of work areas and conduct EHS audits and report any discrepancies.
