We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead EHS Activities on Site
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve EHS objectives.
- Achieve EHS contractual requirements and KPIs.
- Perform EHS Risk Assessments and define appropriate measures to control risks.
- Prepare, implement, and maintain emergency plans.
- Coordinate and control activities with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
- Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, and environmental pollution.
- Recognize best practices and good performance. React to violations of regulations and Alstom Standards.
- Advise other site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities.
- Develop Site EHS Management System
- Develop, deploy, and maintain local procedures and tools, ensuring they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
- Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools are deployed at Site level.
- EHS Compliance
- Ensure compliance of site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines, and work instructions.
- Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.
- Develop EHS Culture in the Site
- Inform, instruct, and train employees to carry out work in a safe and environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
- Participate in the implementation of site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring Toolbox meetings are organized.
- Report, Measure, and Review
- Capture, report, record, investigate, and analyze accidents/incidents to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare EHS reports as per contractual requirements when needed.
- Carry out inspections of work areas and conduct EHS audits and report any discrepancies.
