Could you be the full-time onsite **EHS Advisor** in **Dubai, United Arab Emirates** we’re looking for?

**Your future role**

We’ll look to you for:
**Lead EHS activities on site**
- Cooperate with the internal and external stakeholders to achieve EHS objectives.
- To achieve EHS contractual requirements and KPIs
- To perform EHS Risk Assessment and to define appropriate measures to control risks.
- To prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans.
- To coordinate and control activities with respect of EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operation areas.
- Provide support and advice to site personnel to prevent injury, damage to plant and equipment, fire, environmental pollution.
- Recognize the best practices and the good performance. React to violations to regulations and Alstom Standards.
- Advise other Site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities.

**Develop Site EHS Management System**
- To develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools and make sure they are aligned with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO45001).
- To ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment (TOPE), Transport Key processes) are deployed at Site level.

**EHS Compliance**
- To ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions.
- Perform EHS legal compliance checks for specific requirements.

**Develop EHS culture in the site**
- Inform, instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode according to the method of statement.
- Participate in the implementation of the site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and ensuring Toolbox meetings are organized.

**Report, Measure & Review**
- To capture, report, record, investigate and analyse accidents/incidents in order to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare EHS reports as per contractual requirements and when needed. Can be in charge of feeding EHS reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements.
- Carry out inspections of work areas and carry out EHS audits and report any discrepancy.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Engineering or any related field
- Min 5 years’ experience in EHS practices in construction or manufacturing environments.,
- Good Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.,
- Deep knowledge of local legal EHS requirements.
- Health & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in the country of operation.,
- Ability to perform EHS Risk Assessments and implement control measures.,
- Experience in developing and maintaining EHS Management Systems.,
- Proficiency in EHS compliance checks and legal requirements.,
- Effective communication skills to develop EHS culture and deliver training.,
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting, with a focus on corrective and preventive actions.
