The American University In The Emirates AUE is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader in Public Relations to join our faculty. As a Professor of Public Relations, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the development of our Public Relations program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Mentoring
    • Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Public Relations, including curriculum development and review.
    • Mentor students in research projects and provide guidance on academic writing and presentation skills.
  • Research and Publication
    • Conduct research in Public Relations and publish papers in reputable academic journals.
    • Present research findings at conferences and seminars.
  • Service and Community Engagement
    • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community outreach.
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with industry professionals and organizations.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Ph.D. in Public Relations or a related field from an accredited university in the United States of America or a recognized University accredited by an American Accreditation body.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an internationally accredited university.
    • Proven record of excellence in teaching, research, and service.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent English Proficiency and Communication skills for Faculty teaching in English.
    • Excellent Arabic Proficiency and Communication skills for faculty teaching in Arabic.
    • Ability to integrate web-based and digital technology in the classroom.
