Job Description:
The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) is seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join its team as a Principal IT Support Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate playing a key role in the design, implementation, and management of our IT systems and infrastructure.

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced IT professional to lead the delivery of high-quality IT solutions and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, managing system configurations, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the availability, efficiency, and performance of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. A. Strategy and Planning:
    Develop and manage the implementation of policies, procedures manuals, and standard forms to ensure compliance across ADAA and alignment with overall policies and procedures.
    Develop and manage the implementation of strategic, budget, and procurement plans to ensure alignment with department and sector strategies and objectives, as well as ADAA's mission and vision.
  2. B. Operations:
    1. IT Governance and Strategy:
      Contribute to the development of an IT governance framework covering IT risk management, IT services, technical support, and compliance in line with best practice frameworks.
    2. Technical Support:
      Manage the provision of technical support for software, applications, network, and systems issues to ensure resolution.
  3. C. Talent Management and Development:
    Manage the achievement of assigned section operational goals through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance within the section, and developing and motivating the team to maximize performance.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 10-12+ years of relevant experience in IT strategy formulation, policies, processes, systems development, and Technical Support or equivalent work experience with preferably 6 years in a supervisory role
