Key Responsibilities
  • Production Optimization: Lead the development and implementation of production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.
  • Artificial Lift System Design: Design and develop innovative and effective plunger lift and rod lift systems tailored to unconventional reservoir characteristics.
  • System Implementation and Operation: Oversee the implementation and day-to-day operation of plunger lift and rod lift systems, monitoring system performance and making real-time adjustments to ensure optimal production rates.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to artificial lift systems, utilizing in-depth knowledge and experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data, well performance trends, and equipment performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir engineers, production engineers, and field technicians, to align lift system strategies with reservoir and production goals. Mentor and train junior team members on artificial lift best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and unconventional field challenges.
  • Production Monitoring and Well Surveillance: Conduct daily production monitoring and well surveillance.
Requirements
  • Deep Understanding of Well Loading Issues: Possess a deep understanding of well loading issues, well deliquification practices, and production best practices.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in artificial lift systems, production optimization, and reservoir engineering.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
