Job Overview

The General Technician at Sunset Hospitality Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position involves a variety of maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic of our venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts routine maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, carpentry, and landscaping.
  • Evaluates and repairs mechanical systems to uphold safety and operational standards.
  • Handles electrical maintenance, such as replacing light fixtures and maintaining circuit breaker panels.
  • Assists in the repair of ventilation and refrigeration systems as needed.
  • Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Performs regular pool maintenance, including cleaning, water testing, and equipment upkeep.
  • Inspects and maintains alarm systems for fire and gas safety.
  • Responds to machine breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensures adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Experience in a hospitality setting is mandatory.
