Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and Preparation: Conduct thorough inspections of the workplace to identify and clear obstructions, and prepare materials and equipment for installation.
  • Design and Planning: Study blueprints and plans to design and plan pipe systems and related equipment installations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
  • Installation and Assembly: Use a variety of tools to modify pipes to specifications, measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading, and assemble and weld pipe components and systems.
  • Testing and Maintenance: Test pipe systems for functionality and repair or replace as needed, ensuring that all systems are operating within specifications.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order required materials and supplies, such as pipes, hangers, brackets, and hydraulic cylinders, to ensure timely and efficient installation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all pipe systems and related equipment are installed and maintained in compliance with relevant codes and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pipe installation and maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of pipe systems and related equipment, including materials, tools, and installation methods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
