We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at The Africa Institute. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide direct administrative and professional support to the Director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, assisting in the coordination of all related academic, business, and operational activities of the OIE.
Position SummaryThe Compliance Coordinator supports the Director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in all related business and operational functions of the OIE to ensure quality assurance of GSU. The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for working with administrators to review, manage, and maintain university policies and procedures and ensure continuous compliance of the University with accrediting bodies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the scheduling of meetings of the OIE with academic and non-academic staff
- Handle review of documentation as instructed
- Make appointments and maintain calendars and schedules
- Assist in planning meetings and activities
- Handle confidential documents and information
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education or research institutional setting
- Demonstrated experience providing administrative support to multiple units within an academic organization
