At Oilmar DMCC, we are seeking a skilled Maritime Fuels Specialist to join our team. This role will involve purchasing and selling marine fuel to vessels, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients, negotiating contracts, and managing the logistics of fuel delivery.

Key responsibilities include primary activity in back-to-back bunker trading, canvassing and developing customers for ship owners, operators, and charterers, leveraging the existing team for supply sources, monitoring the entire supply chain and trade cycle, and generating daily indications and pricing from suppliers to the team and to the clients.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in bunker trading or a related field within the maritime industry.

Essential qualities include being a team player with a positive attitude, strong compliance drive, and good organizational skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Strong understanding of the maritime industry, including knowledge of vessel operations, fuel specifications, and international bunkering regulations
  2. Proven ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and clients
  3. Understanding of financial markets, risk management, and the ability to analyze market trends and pricing
