About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Specialist to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our Support Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our logistics support activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics Support Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of logistics support requirements to identify and resolve issues related to spares provision and availability.
  • Engineering Data Exploitation: Review and analyze engineering data to support the identification and resolution of alternative solutions for long lead orders and KPI fulfillment.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Provide initial response to supply chain queries related to parts identification, coordination with field service representatives, and product support team.
  • Material and Demand Forecasting: Work closely with the material and demand forecasting team to resolve spares issues and provide codification support.
  • Configuration Management: Coordinate with internal product support functions to ensure configuration changes are reflected in the aircraft document set.
  • Modification Activity: Assess modification activity and technical instructions to ensure bill of material requirements are identified for transition into the sustainment solution.
  • Level of Repair Analysis: Review maintenance task analysis documentation and vendor data to undertake level of repair analysis (LORA).
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with systems engineering function to develop supplier statements of work and emergent supplier requirements.
  • Supply Chain Meetings: Support supply chain meetings and provide inputs/feedback to engineering stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Technical Documentation: Review technical documentation to assist in the resolution of alternative solutions for long lead time spare orders.
  • Mentoring: Mentor material and demand forecasting team members in the use of technical information.

Requirements

  • Logistics Support Analysis Experience: Logistics support analysis/integrated logistical support-related work experience.
  • Spares Engineering Provisioning Experience: Experience of spares engineering provisioning.
  • Logistics Support Analysis with LSAR: Experience of logistics support analysis with the use of a LSAR.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
