WizeJob seeks a skilled Pulmonary Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This challenging role requires a deep understanding of respiratory care and the ability to diagnose and treat complex lung diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, sputum analysis, biopsies, cultures, and arterial blood gas tests.
- Provide ongoing care for patients with chronic conditions such as asthma, lung cancer, emphysema, chronic bronchitis or pneumonia.
- Perform surgery to treat lung diseases or disorders that cannot be treated through other means.
- Prescribe medications to help control symptoms of certain conditions.
- Diagnose and treat patients with pulmonary disorders, including asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, pneumonia, lung cancer, interstitial lung disease, lung infections, and other conditions.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Specialization certificate in Pulmonology, completion of internship in Medicine and clinical residency in pulmonology, active medical license to practice with good standing, good communication skills, and at least 3-4 years of work experience in the specialty field.
