Job Description:

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in providing patient care, assisting and performing respiratory care services, and basic cardiopulmonary diagnostic test procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical objectives established by physicians, Pulmonary Consultants, and other medical specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides comprehensive patient assessment and re-assessment before, during, or after each clinical test procedure.
  • Responds to patient emergencies and assists with Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) as needed.
  • Communicates directly with attending physicians and reports any critical diagnostic findings or test results, medication adverse reactions, or patient refusal to testing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and/or Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
