We are currently hiring an Account Manager - Heavy Lifting Technology based out of UAE to develop the Middle East market. This role will be responsible for developing the market by building a strong customer base, converting potential into contracts, generating new leads and customers, and ensuring sales growth targets are met through excellent communications, networking, and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate customer requirements through sales visits and close customer contact, actively visiting larger end-user accounts and prospects.
  • Grow sales within existing clients and generate additional sales growth/profit through identifying and developing new clients.
  • Lead Account Managers in identifying potential customers and organizing visits to generate new business.
  • Participate in negotiation, site visits, and finalization of orders with Account Managers.
  • Liaise with Application Engineers, customers, and Account Managers for technical questions on special products.
  • Liaise with colleagues to identify opportunities for product and market development.
  • Ensure promotion of products and services by organizing technical presentations, demonstrations, and training.
  • Recommend technical solutions to end users.
  • Report regularly on opportunities, current quotation status, and expected orders to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Lead and coordinate marketing activities such as VOC, exhibitions, market mapping, etc.
  • Provide reporting as required, e.g., scorecard, visit reports, etc.
  • Participate in improvement activities to ensure smooth systems flow and eliminate waste.
  • Communicate HSEQ rules and regulations throughout the organization and participate in safety awareness and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A sales-oriented candidate with experience working in the Heavy Lifting Industry and holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • 5 years' experience in the Middle East region.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organizational structure.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to travel efficiently within the allocated region (occasional outside of the designated region) is required.
