Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Motor Claims Specialist to join our team at GIG Gulf. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of motor insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Claim Validation: Validate Police Reports to support accuracy in claim settlement or repudiation.
  2. Notification Processing: Process Recovery Notification and incoming Notifications in a timely manner.
  3. Survey Coordination: Coordinate with Surveyors regarding all surveys, approvals, and related matters.
  4. Customer Service: Handle Broker and Customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Settlement Processing: Process and issue Letters of Promise (LPOs) for vehicle repairs and Third-Party property damage.
  6. Service Provider Liaison: Liaise with service providers, including workshops, property repairers, and other insurance companies.
  7. Settlement Validation: Validate and process settlements under various covers, including Hire Car, Towing, Property Damage, and Excess Accounting.
  8. BAH Claim Handling: Respond to and clarify BAH claim handlers' queries related to claim covers and approvals.
  9. Complaint Handling: Handle complaints and draft official replies to regulators in case of escalations.
Business Knowledge:
  • Sound knowledge of GIG Motor Insurance Policies and Unified policies in the Gulf region.
Operational & Technical Responsibilities:
  • Fluency in writing, reading, and spoken English; Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Attention to technical detail.
  • Logical and systematic planning and organizing abilities.
