About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Head Hostess to join our dynamic team at Sushi Samba, a premier dining destination located on the 51st floor of a prestigious tower in Dubai. As Head Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our discerning guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus
  • Manages the waiting list and coordinates with the Guest Relation Manager
  • Offers appropriate seating arrangements
  • Receives and records customers' dining reservations
  • Sets up dining rooms and makes reservation arrangements
  • Ensures all orders are filled in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintains clean and organized tables and work area
  • Observes proper grooming and personal hygiene at all times
  • Assists waiters and headwaiters when needed
  • Ensures all guests receive positive and professional greetings to the highest standards to exceed customer expectations
  • Handles guest problems and complaints
  • Manages the Hosts' working schedules
  • Attends all regular departmental briefings and contributes to open communication within the assigned team
  • Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry and fine dining concept
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (recommended to have previous experience in restaurant software)
