  • Contractor Compliance: Evaluate and audit contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to Emirates' quality benchmarks and formulate corrective measures.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to uncover trends and risks stemming from Compliance Team investigations, presenting findings and recommendations to upper management.
  • Staffing Strategy: Ensure the Compliance Oversight department is adequately staffed with qualified professionals.
  • Human Factors Initiatives: Implement strategies to improve human factors in engineering and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and cultivate the Compliance Oversight team, ensuring they are well-prepared to conduct investigations and uphold quality and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

This position may be suitable for you if you possess:

  • A degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Airline Management, or hold a Maintenance Engineer License or Commercial Pilot License, or have experience in quality/compliance roles within an airline or maintenance facility.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in Engineering/Maintenance or Commercial Aircraft Operations, including Quality Assurance (QA) and/or Safety Management, with at least 3 years in a Senior Management role focused on Safety and Compliance.
  • A comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks and relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge of the principles and execution of Quality and Safety Management systems.
  • A proven ability to communicate effectively across various divisions.
  • Insight into Airline and Airport Management and the impact of QA on maintenance, engineering, operations, and ground handling success.
  • Strong analytical and report writing capabilities.
