Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team at IIQAFGROUP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices to clients.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, and other financial data as assigned.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to management.
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Junior Accountant.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
  • Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is a plus but not required.
  • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
