About the Job

As a Senior Corporate Secretary, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and expansion by executing and maintaining official corporate filings, documents, reports, and records required by applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in handling the full spectrum of company secretarial matters, including formations, dissolutions, drafting board resolutions, and certificates
  • Liaising with internal departments and external professional firms
  • Assisting the finance team with bank account openings in different jurisdictions
  • Maintaining company secretarial and statutory records
  • Dealing with attestation work in the UAE
  • Assisting in license applications and attending regulator inspections, especially in EMEA

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in law, corporate governance, business, management, finance, communication, or accounting

  • Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) with membership in the Chartered Governance Institute or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of company secretarial experience from MNCs, professional firms, law firms, or regulated companies
  • Sound understanding of regulations and corporate governance guidelines
  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities
  • Good command of written and spoken English
