Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team at ERAM MANPOWER SERVICE - SOLE PROPRIETORSHIPL.L.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with quality control plans and industry standards.
  • Issue quality records and nonconformance reports as necessary.
  • Verify cable laying and cable identification.
  • Perform loop checks and update as-built drawings.
  • Conduct punchlisting operations and inspect power transformers, switchboards, and other electrical equipment.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and material checks for connections.
  • Test continuity, insulation resistance, and calibrate safety valves and instruments.
  • Check installation of instruments and perform functional tests.
  • Verify pneumatic signal connections and fiber optic cable.
  • Test communication functionalities and verify special processes and worker qualifications.
  • Witness tests, controls, and inspections, and ensure conformity with quality control plans.
Requirements
  • Previous construction experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Previous exposure to high-voltage electrical installation, including switchgear and electric drives.
  • Exposure to hazardous area installations.
  • Instrument calibrations, including ultrasonic flow meters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, and pressure transmitters.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
  • A working knowledge of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work.
  • Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, and regulations/legislation relating to electrical and instrumentation work.
  • Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package and familiar with other computer packages.
