About the Role:

At Stantec, we're seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team of experts in wet infrastructure design. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our clients' communities through innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Prepare concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for wet infrastructure projects, including wastewater, stormwater, potable water, and recycled water systems.
  • Data Analysis and Review: Review, organize, and analyze collected data to inform design decisions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with peer engineers to overcome project design challenges and collaborate with other discipline teams to facilitate completion of project tasks.
  • Client Services and Stakeholders Management: Organize and attend meetings with clients to collect data and discuss technical solutions and options.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in master planning and design of large-scale wet infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS, etc.
