Role Purpose:
- Evaluate and implement effective health and safety management systems to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Develop and conduct comprehensive HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, near misses, and safety inspections.
- Collaborate with site management teams to conduct regular emergency drills and ensure preparedness in case of an emergency.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain life-saving and firefighting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate HSE information and updates to employees through regular toolbox talks and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills.
