Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive occupational health and safety management system that aligns with our company's values and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an occupational health and safety management system that meets the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop control measures to mitigate them.
  • Design and implement training programs to educate employees on occupational health and safety best practices.
  • Promote a safety culture within the organization by encouraging open communication and reporting of incidents or near misses.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in occupational health and safety performance.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure that occupational health and safety policies and procedures are integrated into daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, engineering, science).
  • Occupational Safety and Health Specialist Certificate.
  • OSHA, IOSH, or NEBOSH course completion.
  • Sufficient knowledge of ISO standards regarding occupational safety and health (45001) and environmental protection (14001), and methods of applying them within the facility.
  • First aid and civil defense training.
