About the Role

As a CAD/BIM Detailer at Actalent, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project management team in the production of design, construction, and field-use documents utilizing building information modeling (BIM) software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initial project model setup and configuration
  • Review project scope of work, including plans, specifications, estimates, and proposals
  • Model equipment, ductwork, and piping systems and equipment
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines and construction trades, including potential site visits
  • Track RFI's and drawing issue revisions
  • Annotate drawings for pricing, permit, and installation
  • Develop content as necessary
  • Assist in maintenance of content libraries and modeling standards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in HVAC design/detailing
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, architectural, and structural plans
  • Advanced knowledge of CAD design systems, including 2+ years of Revit experience
