As a BIM Coordinator Civil 3D Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Delivery Design Team(s) with the execution of BIM strategies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Delivery Design Team(s) in the daily execution of BIM practices.
- Evaluate and ensure top-notch quality for all BIM submissions in line with project standards and specifications.
- Provide updates on progress and performance on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
- Document, archive, and manage all formal communications related to BIM activities.
- Develop and enhance BIM Civil 3D libraries, consistently improving the efficiency and use of the platform.
- Facilitate the deployment of hardware and software solutions and deliver hands-on BIM software training to project team members.
- Oversee BIM modelers and collaborate with the Design Team on design modifications and model-related challenges.
- Generate and extract 2D geometry from models for internal evaluations and coordination discussions.
- Ensure that the Project Information Model (PIM) is delivered according to the established TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocols.
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in BIM design production within a multi-disciplinary context, ideally involving wet and dry utilities projects.
- Experience in consultancy and infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current Autodesk software, including but not limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
- Skilled in various BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulation, and collaboration tools/platforms such as Civil 3D, OpenBuildings Designer, Dynamo, Revit, Grasshopper, and Navisworks.
- Experience in BIM training and instruction.
