Job Description

As a Senior Bids Specialist at AECOM, you will play a critical role in developing and managing the bid/PQQ/ITT program and progress. This includes executing bid submission documents, facilitating workshops and planning meetings, and managing compliance and reviews of quality and technical content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid Development: Develop and manage the bid program, including developing and executing bid submission documents.
  • Facilitation and Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and planning meetings with key proposal contributors to establish a clear win strategy and develop storyboard content.
  • Compliance and Review: Manage compliance and reviews of quality and technical content, ensuring alignment with bid program requirements.
  • Liaison and Alignment: Liaise with the commercial bid team to ensure all submission aspects are aligned.
  • Process Improvement: Promote the effective use of AECOM's work-winning processes and tools, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Research and Data Analysis: Research and use existing internal and external data sources in bids, and manage and maintain all bid documents.
  • Communication and Writing: Develop and edit bid-related content, including answer planning, copywriting, and editing.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge, insights, and learning with the Bid Studio and bidding teams, and identify and share lessons learned to improve the work-winning process and tools.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Qualifications: Degree in engineering or commercial-related discipline, or relevant commercial qualifications and industry experience. Membership in APMP is preferred.
