About the Role

The Managing Consultant/Psychologist at Talogy Middle East & Africa Consulting Department is a critical position that plays a key role in building strategic client partnerships and delivering impactful, scalable talent solutions. This position combines psychological expertise with strategic consulting to address complex client challenges, enhance client experiences, and support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Impact

  • Lead client engagements across diverse industries, addressing complex problem statements to deliver high-impact Talent solutions.
  • Steer the preparation and presentation of complex proposals, using a strategic and evidence-based approach.
  • Ensure the highest quality of client deliverables, managing and strengthening strategic client relationships to drive sustainable growth and success.

Consulting Knowledge & Expertise

  • Apply advanced psychological theories and practices to assess and address client needs, designing and conducting high-impact talent interventions.
  • Provide up-to-date best practice advice on assessments, psychometric interventions, and talent solutions, supporting stakeholders and clients with informed, evidence-based guidance.
  • Implement ethical practices in all consulting processes, including informed consent, data ethics, and responsible technology use.

People Management & Development

  • Lead and develop a consulting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop team members, by identifying capabilities and aspirations, enhancing their skills, and ensuring a high-performing consulting team.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports, providing opportunities for enhanced accountability and growth.

Innovation & Business Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving regional revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Align consulting practices with the organization's strategic goals, leveraging technology and analytics to streamline services and improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by participating in industry events, publishing insights, and developing innovative consulting methodologies.

Project Management

  • Lead project planning, including scoping, timeline, budget management, and resource allocation.
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to manage complex projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and strategic objectives.
  • Provide direction on all elements of project management, including stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation.

The Managing Consultant/Psychologist significantly influences the department's success and the organization's reputation in the MENA region. The role contributes directly to our strategic objectives by delivering exceptional client services, and business results, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative and ethical consulting environment.

Internal: Collaborates with the Director of Consulting, consulting team members, and other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery both regionally and globally.

Breadth of Qualifications and Experience

  • Masters in Occupational Psychology/ HR related discipline
  • Chartered Psychologist/ CIPD
  • BPS Qualification in Occupational Testing (Ability and Personality)
  • BPS Certificate in Assessor Skills and Centre Manager
  • Certified user on more than two of the major personality profiles
  • Coaching Qualification Desirable
  • Strong Microsoft skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint [and comfort with remote technology platforms]
  • Fluent in Arabic, written and spoken desirable

Experience

  • 15+ years in a consulting or in-house talent/L&D/HR role
  • 5+ years working in GCC (desirable)
  • 7+ years managing a team
