Job Title: IT Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design comprehensive IT solutions that address business requirements and align with our goals.
  • Create and maintain architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide the development and integration of IT systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that could enhance our IT capabilities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure that all IT solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Oversee the integration of various systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow across our IT landscape.
  • Lead the technical aspects of IT projects, providing oversight and direction to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Address and resolve architectural and technical issues that arise during the development and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for solutions architecture, including design specifications, system configurations, and integration processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects, developers, and other IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, and solution design.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Expertise in system integration, including APIs, microservices, SOA, and middleware.
  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, including identity management, encryption, and access control.
  • Experience with database design and management (SQL/NoSQL) and data integration.
  • Tech Stack: Microsoft (CRM), MS SQL Server, Genesys, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Fortigate, OPSWAT, ForgeRock, Cyberark, Infoblox, Informatica, Liferay, SAG Webmethods, Dynatrace, Teradata, GITLAB, DOCKER, ARIS (softwareAG).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications:

  • TOGAF Certified
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
