About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Technology Solutions: Develop and design comprehensive IT solutions that address business requirements and align with our goals, including software, hardware, network, and infrastructure components.
  • Architectural Blueprints and Documentation: Create and maintain architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to guide the development and integration of IT systems.
  • Technology Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that could enhance our IT capabilities, staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors, to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all IT solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, including security and data privacy regulations.
  • System Integration and Interoperability: Oversee the integration of various systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow across our IT landscape.
  • Project Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of IT projects, providing oversight and direction to ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Architectural and Technical Issue Resolution: Address and resolve architectural and technical issues that arise during the development and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed documentation for solutions architecture, including design specifications, system configurations, and integration processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects, developers, and other IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems integration, and solution design. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale IT solutions in complex environments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps. Expertise in system integration, including APIs, microservices, SOA, and middleware. Strong knowledge of security architecture, including identity management, encryption, and access control. Experience with database design and management (SQL/NoSQL) and data integration.
  • Technical Stack: Microsoft (CRM), MS SQL Server, Genesys, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Fortigate, OPSWAT, ForgeRock, Cyberark, Infoblox, Informatica, Liferay, SAG Webmethods, Dynatrace, Teradata, GITLAB, DOCKER, ARIS (software AG).

  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Leadership abilities with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
