Key Responsibilities:
The Efficiency Improvement Engineer will be responsible for:
- Optimizing production processes to reduce waste and minimize costs.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure high product standards.
- Managing inventory and procurement of materials required for furniture production.
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery used in the production process.
- Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Supervising and guiding production staff to ensure they understand and follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Analyzing production costs and identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Maintaining records of production data, quality reports, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in furniture manufacturing or a similar industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for design and process optimization.
