Job Title: Principal Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Drainage Engineer to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative drainage solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop drainage systems for civil and transport infrastructure projects
  • Conduct detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic models to ensure accurate and efficient drainage systems
  • Provide technical expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality designs and delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in water engineering, including stormwater drainage design and management
  • Sound knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design software packages
  • Experience with Infoworks ICM, 1D/2D, and GIS/CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Water Engineering or Hydrology
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification or equivalent
