Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as the Enterprise Document Management Systems (EDMS) expert, ensuring the stability and optimal functioning of client EDMS systems. This involves managing and developing new changes that may arise during the contract duration.

Key Accountabilities and Skills:

  1. Provide comprehensive support for client EDMS enterprise document management systems.
  2. Conduct research to gather information on the latest technological advancements for business improvement purposes.
  3. Maintain an up-to-date requirements profile for future actions and plan system versions accordingly, in coordination with vendors and programmers.
  4. Collaborate with technical and business staff from other government organizations for business analysis and systems support as required.
  5. Coordinate with the vendor development team and systems analysts for the implementation of requirements.
  6. Evaluate bug severity and user requirements for immediate actions and future systems improvements.
  7. Ensure that all applications, including their platform technology, server details, support contract vendor details, are maintained up-to-date in the System Architect tool.
  8. Develop, modify, and maintain Application Support Processes based on changing business requirements.
  9. Ensure that software systems run smoothly without interruptions, and issues are reported to the development team for resolution.
  10. Classify and categorize requests for bug fixing and prioritize actions.
  11. Maintain and update Application Maintenance and Support standard templates based on new requirements and emerging situations.
  12. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
