Job Description

Job Title: Bidding Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bidding Engineer to join our team at Imdaad Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Manager - Bidding with all required activities related to the completion of RFQ/RFPs within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Estimate MEP & Civil Manpower Requirements: Estimate the required manpower for PPM, corrective, reactive, and emergency requirements against client assets, working patterns, or other relevant criteria described in the RFQ/RFP document.
  2. Estimate Consumables, Spare Parts, Tools, and Logistic Requirements: Estimate the necessary consumables, spare parts, tools, and logistic requirements to fulfill the RFP/RFQ requirement.
  3. Attend Reviews and Justify Operational Technical Calculations: Attend reviews and justify the operational technical calculations against RFQ/RFP requirements.
  4. Report Relevant Issues: Report to the Senior Manager - Bidding any relevant issues that may have a detrimental effect on achieving proposal deadlines.
  5. Produce Daily Feedback: Produce daily feedback to the Senior Manager - Bidding on the state of all activities in progress for current live RFQ/RFPs.
  6. Procure Quotations and Evaluate Sub-Contractors: Procure quotations and evaluate sub-contractors' quotations specific to the Tender scope of work.
  7. Assist in Proposal Budget Costing: Assist the Senior Manager - Bidding in the proposal budget costing process.
  8. Adhere to Company Procedures: Adhere to all current company procedures and the ISO system.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree is a must, and a PG Diploma/PG Degree is desirable.
  • Relevant Professional Certification: Relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Skills: Numerical Ability, Process Orientation, and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Language Skills: Advanced communication skills in English (oral and written) and knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.
