  • Ensuring a robust financial control framework by advising on adherence to established policies and procedures, sharing best practices, and conducting ongoing assessments of control measures.
  • Coordinating all forecasting activities related to expenditures and managing the calculation and reporting of performance metrics in line with corporate standards.
  • Managing corporate finance functions, including but not limited to - month-end closing and reporting, cash flow forecasting, budget oversight, fixed asset management, and statutory financial reporting.
  • Collaborating with regional teams on tax compliance, treasury management, and the external audit process.
  • Assessing financial systems, internal controls, and operational procedures, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.

In this role, you will also foster collaboration across corporate functions and drive outcomes by effectively mobilizing resources to meet organizational goals.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Operations Leader position will possess extensive experience, knowledge, and skills, including:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) and professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and strategic frameworks.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly strong skills in Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with financial and marketing systems (BPS/SAP).
  • Knowledge of distribution and logistics processes.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Familiarity with current financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and self-management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with 1-2 years of experience in FMCG and 'Big Four' firms.
